One recent post caught my attention and I encourage you Able Veterans to read it: Continued Government Emphasis on Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB). The federal government and large contractors are aggressively trying to drive more business towards SDVOBs and there is more help available then at any other time in history so please invest some time into exploring this entrepreneurial avenue.
